This is how the Chinese do!

The following is a list uniquely brought to you by astoldbyannabanana :D

Disclaimer: If you have to click on any of the links to understand something, then it is my sad duty to inform you that you ma'am or sir are not a true Chinese. Sorry Senor :'(

You know you're Chinese if...

- you can't fake a decent Chinese-accented English
- the prior really upsets you because you can't fake your parents on the phone to get out of going to school
- a significant portion of your bookshelf is occupied by Chinese School books you never read

- as can be seen in the picture above, you have mad Asian bedspreads in your house
- you own one of these Chinese blankies

- you are excited by a good coupon
- you would fight with a cashier over a mis-priced item - even if it's only off by a little; sometimes you let mistakes < $1 slide, but only when you're in a good mood
- depending on what year you were born, you own all sorts of zodiac paraphernalia -> for me personally, that would be monkey items:

this just being the tip of the iceberg

- you eat seafood straight up; no sliced fish or peeled shrimp for us
- some relative in your family holds a grudge against the Japanese
- you are surprised by how surprisingly racist your relatives are
- at least one of your cousins is a fan girl
- you grew up on Huan Zhu Ge Ge (环珠格格) -> girls: you had a crush on Wu Ah Ge

- ...and Song Wu Kong (孙悟空) -> when rewatching now you question how you could ever have watched such awful effects and quality...I guess it's our yellow people version of the white kid's Goonies

- you own a karaoke machine -> your parents think they can sing; the objective word being think"
- you know what go is
- you've played go and Chinese chess <- Chinese checkers is for pussies, but you enjoy it nonetheless
- your last name is only one syllable
- you don't need fortune cookies to "learn Chinese" (<- super cute; give to your girlfriend for V-day)
- you know what black vinegar is
- scallions, garlic, ginger, and leeks are staples in your diet
- you drink nasty herbal remedies, swallow pills that smell poisonous, and drink medicine from little bottles with straws -> you'd rather not know what ingredients are inside

I could go on, but the list would extend beyond your interest. In any case,
This is how the Chinese do!
Food for thought:
If you're Chinese, do any of these apply to you?
Is there anything major I missed?
